A good friend of mine is a pretty stellar bass player and I remember him always talking about Victor Wooten and how amazing the guy is. I remember seeing a Victor Wooten vid at his house and figured it may be on YouTube. Of course it was, with millions of views to boot.
It got me thinking how important it is to strive to be better at what you do. Even though focus and attention to the business side is really important in building a career, it’s still built on talent.
Whether you’re a bass player, vocalist, guitar player, drummer, DJ, didgeridoo player, beat maker, songwriter, or harpist, you can always be pushing to get better at what you do.
