Summer Equals Songwriting Inspiration

Man, I love summer.

If you’re in California or any other 24/7 sunny location, you probably don’t appreciate summer as much as people who know what a cold winter feels like. Summer is absolutely fantastic.

I thought this post could be a quick add on to Voyno’s post about writer’s block. Summer is chalk full of inspiration. Songs about the longing for summer, the good times in summer, the end of summer, etc…

So if you’re stuck, just hang outside on a summer evening with your guitar, harmonica, MPC 1000, or whatever, and just see what happens. I can almost guarantee something will come of it.

Excuse me, I need to go play some guitar.
