Personally, I manage our own band, but it's getting to be a bit much for me (pleasantly). I've turned some managers down. Others I thought I wanted as our manager, I'm now glad they didn't take the job. I now have a shortlist of super fans with tons of motivation that I consider fresh faces in the industry. A "no one" in the industry is also some one new. It's a really great way to look at the manager role. Derek Telling on Trixie very, very true.
