I’ve written about Dig before. It’s my personal favourite music documentary because it’s so real. Last week’s Metallica doc was cool, but they’re a huge band. The Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Dandy Warhols are not huge bands. They’re big for indie acts but they never really crossed over and their struggles are what makes this film so great.

Filmed by Ondi Timoner who won the Sundance Grand Jury Prize for this doc, it shows the kind of real musical grind that many bands go through. This is a fantastic doc and I recomend you watch the whole thing.
