You know about Reddit right? Reddit is probably the internet’s best social news site.

Reddit is a social news website to which registered users submit content, either via links or “self” posts. Other users then vote the submission “up” or “down,” which is used to rank the post and determine its position on the site’s front page(s). (Wiki)

It’s has tons of topics to choose from and users that are savvy and engaged. Not to mention infinite Lols and Roflcopters.

Probing further into Reddit you will find a number of music loving users. In the infinite sub-Reddits (topics that don’t fall on the first page) there are topics covering every genre, musical instrument, and style. In the  Songwriting category users ask, and get honest feedback, on new songs, lyrics, demos, and everything else regarding songwriting. I too have posted some songwriting clips that I though users would enjoy.

Reddit can be great if you’re looking for another opinion on your songwriting that isn’t’ from your friends or family. Most users comply to the rules of the sub-Reddit so trolling isn’t that big of a threat. Plus, the users engaged in the Songwriting Reddit all care about songwriting, so you’re getting an opinion that, at the very least, wants to help you.
