We Won Best Indie Book of 2011 in Italy!
If you haven’t heard, The New Rockstar Philosophy was published in Italy a few weeks ago.
Yes, it was translated and put into a real physical book.
We were stoked that people across the ocean dug our stuff enough to want to put it out. We didn’t know what else to expect, but I got an email yesterday morning that we were chosen as Best Indie Book released in Italy in 2011!
I stil don’t know what that exactly means, but needless to say- we continue to be stoked!.
The MEI – Meeting of the CIS, with its fifteenth edition of the program 25 to 27 November to Medimex of Bari, with Preview November 24, decided to give special recognition to one of the most significant books of 2011: “The New Rockstar Philosophy “of Hoover and Voyno, whose Italian edition was translated by Thomas and Claudia Colliva Galal, with an introduction by Manuel Agnelli. The award ceremony will be held Saturday, November 26 to 18 hours on the stand Audiocoop – Friends of Music – Festival Network within the Fiera del Levante in Bari.
