Facebook has announced that it will begin rolling out 360-degree videos… Star Wars, GoPro, Saturday Night Live are… When watching 360-videos on desktop, viewers can drag their cursor around a video to see different angles. When watching on a mobile device, viewers can either use their finger or simply turn their device. via TheDrum

Of course Facebook is going hard on this. Remember when they bought Oculus Rift for billions? Yeah that is part two of their plan. Getting us used to thinking about video in a 360 way is part one.
So to answer my question of when should you be making 360 videos? Um, now. Yes, do it for your next video. How? I don’t know I’m not your father, Google it you genius. Then email me and tell me about it.
360 Videos will probably be another video fans will begin to expect from artist in the next 1-2 years. OR maybe the the whole VR thing will go down like Nintendo’s Virtual Boy.

360 filmed on a tripod are limited. Moving 360 videos are the reason viewers stay engaged throughout the content. This is how its done.
